Biography
Fadwa Tuqan (1917-2003) was one of Palestine's most celebrated poets. Born in Nablus, she published her first poem in 1952 and went on to become one of the most important Arabic-language poets of the 20th century. Her poetry explores themes of love, loss, and Palestinian identity. Her autobiography 'A Mountainous Journey' is considered a classic of Palestinian literature.
