Biography
Orhan Pamuk, born on June 7, 1952, in Istanbul, is a Turkish novelist and the 2006 Nobel Prize in Literature laureate. His novels, including 'My Name Is Red,' 'Snow,' and 'Istanbul: Memories and the City,' explore the cultural tensions between East and West. He founded the Museum of Innocence in Istanbul.
